Verbo-Nicaragua Development Fund (VNDF)
Creating growth, bringing hope to hard places
The Need
Less than a two-hour flight from Miami, Florida is another world - a country called Nicaragua of great hope and heartache. Consider that:
- Nicaragua is the second-poorest country in the Western Hemisphere (only Haiti is more poor)
- The rate of under- and unemployment is 70%
- The average working Nicaraguan earns $2/day
The Vision
To equip impoverished Nicaraguans with the tools,
opportunities and encouragement they need to
care for themselves, create a better life for their
family and contribute to the restoration of Nicaragua.
The Mission
To directly address the cultural and economic root
causes of poverty in Nicaragua by developing
a network of effective partnerships for Verbo Ministries
with the goal of alleviating the conditions created by
poverty and helping Nicaraguans break the cycle
of intergenerational transmission of poverty (ITP)
into which they were born..
"Let us join hands to give every human being
